Jemtlander Harness

The Jemtlanderpulkan harness is customizable for most people. Our standard harness has the same design as an expedition harness with padded suspenders and thigh straps. The waist lock has a safety buckle that can be quickly unlocked in a crisis situation. It is easy to adjust the waist size so you get the padded part exactly where you want it.

The harness comes with padded suspenders to easily distribute the weight between the hip and shoulders, which is appreciated when pulling larger loads. They are also good for loosening the grip on the waist and allowing moisture to escape. There is also a chest strap to help keep the braces in the right place on the shoulders. If you instead choose to distribute the load between backpack and sled, probably with the distribution of having the more bulky but lighter part of the equipment in the sled, there is no need for the brace part, which can easily be disconnected. There are then no annoying buckles on the top of the harness that are in the way of the backpack's waist belt, which is an advantage if you have both a backpack and a harness.

The removable thigh straps are there to keep the harness in place so that it does not press up against the stomach/chest, which can happen, for example, when going downhill with a heavily loaded sled that pushes when braking. These straps also provide a more comfortable pull in the event that a dog is attached to the front to help pull the vehicle.

• The braces are attached with a buckle with a small ring lock so that they can be removed if you want to use the harness without braces.
• The thigh straps are attached by a buckle with a small ring lock so that they can be removed if you want to use the harness without these straps.
• The length of the braces is adjusted for the length of the back of the person pulling the sled, slightly upwards, according to the same principle as adjusting the length of the carrying system of a backpack. The length is adjusted both on the front of the stomach and on the back.
• The braces have a chest strap to keep them in the desired position on the shoulders.

• In addition to the chromated ring, the harness comes with a rubber cord for those who want more cushioning in the pulling function. Since it is attached behind the ring, the ring can be used for double commands. That the person pulling in front, for example on a long uphill slope, then attaches his laces to the rings. Or in the same way you can attach a pull cord to a dog. The rubber cords are a consumable and normally last between 25-60 miles, depending on the weight of the load and how the sled is used.

By law, you as a customer have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received the goods. The product must be returned in the same condition as you received the product if for any reason you are not satisfied.

When returning, the customer is responsible for return shipping, ie the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product from the customer back to us.

Instructions for exercising your right of withdrawal: If you want to return your item, you are welcome to email us at info@jemtlander.se and state the order number and what you want to return.    

We ask you to pack the product properly, if possible in the original packaging and a protective transport packaging equivalent to the one in which the product was delivered to you, and to return the product to us within 14 days of informing us that you wish to return your purchase.

We will refund the full amount you have paid, including any shipping costs for delivering the goods to you. However, if your handling of the goods has led to a decrease in the value of the goods, we will deduct an amount corresponding to this decrease in value.

We will refund the money without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received your notification that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal and the goods have been delivered back to us.
