Pullpac 8L

Jemtlander PullPac 8L is a transportation aid for those who normally carry packing on their back but also want to be able to pull the backpack (or bag) behind them. The design of the chassis is perfect for normal width backpacks in the range of 60-90 liters and which do not have too wide side pockets. In steep and/or difficult terrain, it is a great advantage to be able to carry the backpack including the sled on your back. Getting around in winter usually involves a considerably greater pack weight than in summer, which is both strenuous and usually results in sore shoulders and hips. It also normally results in a hot and sweaty back. Pulling the pack avoids these disadvantages. Another advantage is that as soon as you stand still and rest, you have no weight on your back. And on tours, usually in the spring, where you may encounter stretches without snow, it is good to be able to take the sled on your back. This sled has a lighter hull for those who prioritize weight.

• The chassis is a shell that attaches to the backpack. Its main task is to allow the bag to slide on the snow. Therefore, the towline should be attached to the pack.
• The appropriate length of line between the front edge of the carriage and the front of the towing belt is about 180 - 200cm. 
• The PullPac works best if the lower part of the backpack is pushed against the front of the chassis, with the carrier belt on top.
• Along the top edges of both long sides there are 5 eyelets for attaching packing straps and other straps or cords.
• The chassis is folded up at the front and open at the back. The hull shape is chosen to be able to handle sacks and bags of varying lengths and to be able to open the lid of the backpack with the chassis mounted.
• The drawstring can accommodate a waist size of 150 cm in its outermost position. The waist lock has a safety buckle that can be quickly opened in an emergency situation.
• The drawstring lacks padding and braces to allow the backpack waist belt to be fastened over the drawstring.
• At the back there is a cross-band that allows the towline to be moved sideways depending on where the gasket is behind the tractor and distributes the load on both sides of the hip.
• You can turn the belt to the most comfortable pulling direction, for example in a situation when pulling your Pullpac uphill where it is so steep that you put your skis across the slope when climbing the steep hill.
• At one end of the dragline there is a rubber cord that reduces shocks. The way it is mounted means that it is perfectly possible to continue pulling the gasket even if the rubber cord breaks.
• It is easy to work on the hull with drills, knives and other tools for those who want to make their own modifications.
• PullPack requires different handling. If you choose to leave the pack on the snow when going downhill or when the ground is sloping sideways, it is best to pull the pack and hold it with one hand with a short rope on the side of the body while going downhill. The poles are held in the other hand.
• The chassis can be rolled up for transportation and packed on the outside of the bag/backpack on the journey to where the tour starts.
• To minimize the weight, the Pullpac can be attached, via the eyelets, with a thin string or rope and can also be pulled with a rope other than the pulling line included in the complete package.
• For those who want a backpacking pack in the same size that can withstand tougher conditions, Pullpac 8M is also available in a thicker material. If you are looking for a backpacking pack that can handle larger pack volumes, there is the Pullpac 11M.

By law, you as a customer have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you received the goods. The product must be returned in the same condition as you received the product if for any reason you are not satisfied.

When returning, the customer is responsible for return shipping, ie the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product from the customer back to us.

Instructions for exercising your right of withdrawal: If you want to return your item, you are welcome to email us at info@jemtlander.se and state the order number and what you want to return.    

We ask you to pack the product properly, if possible in the original packaging and a protective transport packaging equivalent to the one in which the product was delivered to you, and to return the product to us within 14 days of informing us that you wish to return your purchase.

We will refund the full amount you have paid, including any shipping costs for delivering the goods to you. However, if your handling of the goods has led to a decrease in the value of the goods, we will deduct an amount corresponding to this decrease in value.

We will refund the money without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received your notification that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal and the goods have been delivered back to us.
