Do you know how to pack a mountain sled so it doesn't fall over?

When you're out on a trip, the most important thing is a course-stable and responsive mountain pack that floats on the snow.
But you already know that.

Packing in a layer so you have a good overview is step 1.

Then it's easy to keep your pack in order, which is important.

Also, try to pack as wide as possible, rather than vertically.

It is also important to place the heaviest items at the bottom and preferably with the center of gravity behind the center of the sled.
In this way, the bow lifts and the sled floats on the snow.

An advantage then is a wide sled with straight sides, with a reasonably high edge and preferably made of a flexible material.
This gives a steady and very stable sled.

These have been the starting points when we developed our mountain sleds.
Should you still end up in a situation where the sled risks tipping over, you can stop it with the stable shake.

This applies to both our mountain sleds - Jemtlander 17 and Jemtlander 14.
